Urban Fauna Lab

Alexey Buldakov (born in 1980, Kostroma) graduated from the Faculty of Social Anthropology of the Russian State University for the Humanities. From 1998 to 2002 was a member of Radek Group. He participated in Manifesta (2002) and the International Istanbul Biennal (2007). Anastasia Potemkina (born in 1984, Moscow) is an artist and architect, and graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy), Experimental Design Studio. The Urban Fauna Lab collective has formed in 2011. Personal exhibitions: Urban Fauna Zoo (co-author Dmitry Potemkin), Arthouse Art Squat Forum, Special project of the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2011); Outer Green, The ‘Grain’ pavilion on the All-Russian Exhibition Center, Moscow (2014). The collective has participated in several Russian and international exhibition projects: The False Calculations Presidium, Moscow (2012); The Way of Enthusiasts as part of the 13th Architectural Biennale in Venice (2012); Monday Begins on Saturday, the main project of the First Art Triennale Bergen Assembly (2013); Frontier, Laboratoria Art & Science Space, Moscow (2013); IK-00 Venice (2014); Observations of the Open Space, The Natural Architectural Archaeological Museum-reserve Divnogorie (2015). Artists live and work in Moscow.
